What we evaluate
Common items include 10k, 14k, 18k and higher-karat gold jewelry; sterling silver; gold and silver bars; rounds; and coins. Broken jewelry can still have precious-metal value. An unstamped item needs testing rather than an assumption about purity.
How your offer is determined
Metal weight, tested purity and the current market feed help establish the precious-metal value. A finished piece, collectible coin or recognizable brand may also have resale value beyond its metal content. Stones and non-metal parts are assessed separately.
Our team evaluates the item before making an offer. The public price sheet shows product estimates using saved buy/sell adjustments; it is not a promise that every item will receive that price. Ask the store to explain the tested weight, purity and any adjustment used for your item.

Questions about selling gold
Can I sell broken gold jewelry?
Yes. Broken gold and silver jewelry can be evaluated for precious-metal content. Testing determines whether the item is solid precious metal, plated or another material.
Does the spot price equal my payout?
No. Spot is a reference for pure metal. Your item’s weight, purity, product type and the store’s buying adjustment affect the offer. Compare current product estimates and ask staff about your specific item.
Do you also buy coins and bullion?
Yes. Bring gold or silver coins, bars and rounds for evaluation. Collectible or graded coins may need a different assessment from ordinary bullion. See our bullion and coin services.
